Life Around Me
No hatches. A few bugs. A monarch butterfly and some tiny moths were buzzing the water surface.
Saw a yellow-belly black snack sunning itself in a marshy hollow beside the river. Gave him some distance a left him to enjoy the afternoon.
A pair of ducks swam right up to me while I tied on a royal wulff. Like they wanted to give me advice.
Fish Behaviour
Didn’t see any rises or fish holding. Saw and heard a couple of splashes near the shady bank on a wide bend. Might have been a fish. A small moth was skimming the surface pretty close by.
